So a line must be done if only Major cities touch to it? So which major cities come in Hospet-Harihar Sections then? Its not like that bro Their are lot of ppl Who pay 100 rupees one side to travel from Gadag to haveri daily KSRTC earning nicely in this Stretch and also it just 56km short line not big like other Routes if they make this line it will be useful to lot of ppl from Laxmeshwar,Mulgund, Yalvigi on other side about SWR HQ to bypass its nothing Important that each train to touch HQ wasting fuel/power ,time in LR and halts etc. Some long distance trains Bypass UBL in future through this line andICE between Shivamogga/DVG-SUR & freights and some passengers will ply and also this route is shortcut to connect North Bound lines like Daund-Manmad via GDG-SUR to South Hariahar,ASK,Hassan,YPR,MYS. Instead? You can say they can do Shivamogga-Harihar also na brother. Why instead? If like this we go means when railway developments can happen in our state? we are against for one development for other development. Railways can sanction Shivamogga-Harihar section also instead is not good word for this i think.Their is Forest and Good Agriculture Land going to come and it takes Time for LA works for Shivamogga-Harihar section & it is also bit lengthy than GDG-Yalvigi line which is shorter with no major bridges except some ROB/RUB so Railways sanctioned this one over other routes i think. But Shivamogga-Harihar or Shivamogga-Ranibennur is good line i think to go ahead for sanctioning in this 2018 budget.
