Sir,You may too Pl. Note that these spls Doesn't Need Pitline. They just need platform Turn arround Attention Thats all. And also u may please update that there are No pitlines at Majn. These spls need no Maintaince at Majn/maq ,they are done at MAS/MS/TEN.
They are Deliberately run Till MAJN since there are Considerable amount of Kerala/TN people residing in Mangalore+ Many devotees going to Bynr.

They are run upto MAJN since that's the farthest SR can run without needing any slots on other zones/divisions. Also, these trains' rakes were stabled at Bunder/Manjeshwar since Friday. Only the rake of Kudla Express is stabled at MAJN now. :)

Pls note I agree there are no pit lanes in Mangalore Junction. If you see Trains from Mangalore Central and Mangalore Junction most of the trains are empty and get filled in Kasargod etc. I agree some trains like Mangalore -- Chennai gets filled that too 40% and latter gets filled in Kasargod. Southern Railway has maximum trains starting from Mangalore Junction and Mangalore Central to Kerala but when trains originating from MAQ/MAJn to Inner Karnataka they don't have slots etc. This is the apathy of SR. Tell me how many trains are there towards inner Karnataka. We don't have trains to Hubli, Gulbarga etc. We don't have direct trains to Bangalore and the train we have has been extended to Kannur etc. I'm not biased against anybody but this is the fact.

Yes sir, the YPR-MAJN ICE was to run from MAQ, but SR didn't allow it to run. Already the are too few trains from MAQ to KA, those too SR doesn't allow to start from MAQ. Better Mangaluru moves out from SR.
