* IR is very badly infected with viruses of political & bureaucratic infection, bad management & inefficiency, so a growth is very difficult. The only RM who tried to match the growth of IR with china is already fired rfom Rly ministry. There are little hope that railway in India could grow like china. Most of the tax collection in India is used to by vote for the ruling parties/ politicians by way myraid of subsidies targetted towards poor, particular caste, particular religion, etc.
* China could construct over 60000 RKMs of new railway track including about (including 20000 RKMs of HST and substantial route KMs of semi high speed train) in last 2 decades. Where as in last 2 decades and
