Cost of selling a ticket on a reservation counter is much higher for IR than selling ticket through online platform. Accordingly, the online ticket should cost a bit lower than than the ticket purchased from counter.
If IR really want to promote the online sale of tickets, then during next revision of fare there should be discount on online tickets or a reasonable clerkage charge be introduced for tickets sold through counters.
