Yesterday I was travelling in agniveena exp from Durgapur to Howrah. The train came jampacked from Asansol and most of the people boarding from Durgapur didn't succeeded to get a seat.
Not only agniveena exp, all trains from coming from asansol and dhanbad like Coalfield, Black diamond, Asansol Sealdah Intercity, Asansol Bardhaman MEMU, etc comes packed from Asansol, Dhanbad, Raniganj, etc. So people of Durgapur don't get any seat in any one of these intercity trains. Infact, 13 coacher Hool exp also runs packed from Siuri, so it's rough to get a seat in Hool express also

That train would be reaching ASN at 4:45 AM. Since ASN already has Bidhan at 5:30, and being early morning hours, I don't think there would be much rush in the local. If it reaches DGR at 5:30-5:45 hrs, and then departs DGR right after Bidhan's departure, I would say DGR passengers can manage to get seats in that train.
Since DGR exceeds the 150 km termination limit imposed on EMU trains, I doubt HWH would provide an EMU service to DGR. Then again SDAH-LGL EMU already violates that rule and DGR's apathy being genuine, I am sure an HWH-DGR EMU could surely be arranged for....
