I need to know about the journey to Raxaul by Mithila express, how is the train, journey ?, I have found that the train always reaches in Raxaul late, at least late by 1 - 2 hours ?, is it for some reason or it arrives right time also. Is the train safe to travel as I will be travelling in 2A with family?.
The train usually runs late due to it's huge number of halts. U can expect the train to reach raxaul by 10am
And I would suggest not to travel in the sleeper coaches in this train, sleepers usually becomes general compartment in many sections as the daily passengers board this trains with monthly tickets and the TTE also don't bother to tell them anything
And regarding safety I will say its too some extend safe to travel in this train because from Howrah itself, u will find RPFs patrolling in the trains and...

The train gets delayed between mfp and rxl, ontime departure from mfp can still turn into 2-4hrs delayed arrival at rxl ,in my experience it is safe to travel.
