Chakravarthi~ 395 blog postsThe timings between Kanhangad and Kannur is so diastrous that 2 trains(16860,16605) will overtake this train. It is hard to have a train suffer this in Maq-Srr section where there are double lines. If the timings are properly done, the train can very well reach Kannur by 09am.
Very well. Now via short route it is taking more time.
I think due to PF issue at CAN they may be delayed the train. But still can be accomodated at PF 2, which can be shunted out to Bay platform. Noticed many times they are detaching the loco within seconds upon arrival of 16517. 16527 also can enter the same platform. (CAN still allows two trains at one platform at same time).
Still wonder how they managed to allow the train at MAQ @ 6:40.
