Hello!
I was expecting a new non-stop train would be announced between Howrah and Secunderabad, but it didn't happen. With railway growing like anything, I think this won't be a matter of distant possibility.
Some suggestions I have:
1. Trains from Hyderabad/Sec'bad to Howrah, needs to change engine twice (once at Vijayawada and then at Visakhapatnam). If for the important trains (Falaknama,
...
GHY-Howrah etc.), Vizag is bypassed, it would save the running time by two hours.
2. A new line, if possible could be set up between Khammam and Eluru. That would bypass Vijayawada for trains coming from Sec'bad and going towards Howrah. That would also cut down the time by 3 hrs.
So just think, Falaknama express, which is now taking 26 hrs to reach Howrah from Sec'bad can complete its journey in 21 hrs. Won't it be a great gain for people like me who often make short trips to home.
Somebody please convey the message to Ms. Mamata Banerjee, so that she can think of this proposal in the next budget.
I welcome your suggestion.
Good Day!
regards,
Jayanta
