So i need to take new ticket for general or the same ticket will be valid.

Your e-ticket has automatically got extinguished if it is waitlisted. You need to buy a ticket from the PRS counter to board the train. If your e-ticket is RAC board the train on the seat number shown on the charts ! Good wishes
