My point is different. Do we have trains called MAIL trains now? Why dont you call it Express?
We can call it as Express also. Mail was just another name if it has RMS.....Trains like Trivandrum-Chennai Mail, Mangalore- Chennai Mail exists..This

Anyway, it is an imaginary train. You can bring back ''Mail'' into IR again. But trains like Trivandrum Mail and Mangalore mail are both pre-independence trains. Anyway, my question is still unanswered -- ''which and when was the last MAIL started by IR?'' Maybe I should ask this question in the QUIZ section
Brahmaputra Mail is probably the last Mail train to have been inaugurated in 1974 as the Tinsukia Mail. Please see /blog/post/2814647
