Here is the predecessor of this train - the ADI-Hapa ICE - sporting a uniform livery and having non-AC First Class. Sights like these were more common in the 70s and 80s.
Description: A surprise encounter with a distinctive liveried train. It was the Hapa-Ahmedabad Intercity Exp. at Surendranagar Jn., sporting a soothing blue-cream livery. IR had done well to preserve the uniformity of the rake. At that time, this livery could be seen on a few other trains from Ahmedabad including the Karnavati Exp.
