Always be careful from Touts & Goons roaming around station premises
auto wala will always say there is bus strike & Metro have some problem & Ask for high fare
also do not trust any stranger outside station

No, not mandatory. You can keep a card if you want to use on regular basis..
If your stay is more than 2 days and need to travel a lot. Best to buy a Metro Smart card with travel value of 300.It will be beneficial.
Yeah. Thanks. It is like the smart card, called Oyster, in the London Underground. It is a top-up card called Pay As You Go. Also, It is the only way to travel on London buses. London Buses dont have tickets any more, only Oyster is needed
A very important thing while purchasing a Metro Smart card from the Customer service desk counter ask for a travel brochure which has the detailed informations and map with all the lines and fare chart of the Delhi Metro system.
