As per this report in a news paper, Ministry of Railways has decided to Introduce first shatabdi in Kerala between Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur. The timings are TVC 06:00 CAN 13:30 Return CAN ~15:00 Hrs TVC 22:30 Hrs . Stops:- Kollam,Kottayam,Ernakulam North,Thrissur,Shornur,Kozhikode.
Though the exact date of inauguration is not known , it is expected that it may be introduced in this January. Days of service are not known Presently.
