It's scheduled overtake if 18048 is supposed to arrive BBS before 17016 then overtake has to happen. Simple as that even some SF trains have scheduled overtakes over other SFs.
As a result of this ECoR goof 18048 reached 50 minutes late at HWH.
Amaravati has SF schedule on par with other SFs infact faster than some SFs in BZA HWH stretch.

That's what I'm saying..SCR likes to give OT for their terminating trains though it's unscheduled...Ecor won't like to give OT for terminating trains though it's scheduled..it's upto them..
yesterday SCR not allowed AP AC superfats exp to over take Konark express. These controllers have some specific instructions it seems.
Why should AP AC overtake konark.?.it's running late and has equal stops as konark.
konark has huge slack. AP AC is super fast and Konark is express.
