* Since several decades, IR had been primarily focussing on the "two sides of the Golden Quadrilateral" i.e. Delhi-Kolkata & Delhi-Mumbai routes. I
* It is time to consider other routes of the GQ also, especially the Delhi-Chennai & Mumbai-Kolkata which are almost at par with the first 2 routes considered in the matter of Passenger/Freight traffic as well as revenue/Profitability.
* DFC on atleast 2 more GQ routes should be started at the earliest, so that they are commissioned by 2024-25.
