This train should have actually run via Ballari-Chitradurga-Arsikere-Tumakuru line. That would have helped CTA, BAY, Hassan & TK people more as already there are many trains on the present route.

after completing kryp - tumakuru line it will be more useful and it will not be much longer route comparing via bay-ask-tk route.

Though the route I mentioned is longer, the reason I proposed that route is that there is just 1 night train from Ballari to Bengaluru which is not enough, similarly only KOP-HYB exp which is slow for Ballari to HYB. And there are no regular express trains from Chitradurga to its state capital. It may not be highly useful for end to end passengers.
