Dear Sirs:
The Takkal Scheme in your Web site says: "No identity proof is required to be produced by the passenger seeking reservation under tatkal scheme neither at the time of booking nor during the journey."
But your ticket with Takkal boking shows: "·This ticket will only be valid along with an ID proof in original. If found travelling without ID Proof, Passenger will be treated as without ticket and charged as per extant Railway rules. Example:

Train No. & Name: 6108/MAQ CHENNAI EXP Date of Journey:10-Apr-2010
Class: SL Date of Booking:08-Apr-2010 03:15:06 PM Date of Boarding:10-Apr-2010

Boarding : TIRUCHCHIRAPALI (TPJ) Resv Upto: CHENNAI EGMORE(MS) Quota: Tatkal .. (truncated for space saving) "
I had problem with your TTE sometime back in some train. Luckily I had some Id proof and was saved from the ordeal.
Pl educate them OR pl ensure that this phrase is removed from Takkal Tkts wwhich may involve some SW changes only.
Pl look into it and do needful.

"No identity proof is required to be produced by the passenger seeking reservation under tatkal scheme neither at the time of booking nor during the journey."
This rule is valid for tickets booked from railway reservation counter.
Because earlier when Tatkal scheme was introduced by Mr Nitish Kumar(Railway Minster that time) the rule was person must show an identity while booking in tatkal scheme, but later on this rule removed so you got this message.

in case of e tickets although the id proof is not required at the time of booking but during journey one of the passenger must provide an id proof otherwise all the passengers will be treated as without ticket.
