Yesterday I missed my train when I was on the way. but I filed TDR before 15 Minute of arrival, may I get my money refunded.??

I cancelled my WL ticket from an intermediate station well within 24 hours of its scheduled departure from my departure point. However, the WL ticket had been confirmed and the chart had already been made. had to file a TDR. This was on 2/12. I am happy to inform you that the 50% refund arrived yesterday ie 9/12.
