* LTT-PUNE aerial distance is just 120kms and 320kmph bullet train route should be about 130kms and bullet train should take about 40-45 minutes, 75 minutes is too much time.
* Delhi-Panipai-Ambala-Ludhiana-Jalandhar-Amritsar route appears to be most promising route for 2nd HST project.
* Due to very high construction costs and uncertainity of fare structure and patronage, it would be better to have first HST project commissioned and based on the experience further HST corridors should be taken up.

IR should utilise all its funds and energy to commission the 2 DFCs under construction and immediately takeup the construction of more DFCs including Delhi-Chennai & Mumbai-Howrah DFCs, which shall be the longest ones.
