It would be better if all #tlmonitor are on same page. Some tells that that writing Facebook or Twitter is more than sufficient as source but some like you need full source. Not sure whom to follow moreover many #tlmonitor are confirming their OWN timeline posts which would NOT always 100% correct.

All are requested to understand the purpose of the credit system. The person who actually took the picture must get some appreciation, referral link, etc. By crediting FB, we are not giving credit to the photographer. The name of the FB user needs to be mentioned, preferably with a link to his FB page. This way, he gets some referral traffic.

A few days ago, there were objections to a Twitter post taking content from IRI, giving credit to "Respected Author". The above is similar. Although Twitter may allow taking content without permission, at IRI, we must give proper credit to the actual owner of the material - not Google or FB.

Pl. give credit to:
Site Name.
Name of User.
Preferably, link to the FB page or blog. This will send him referral traffic.

It's clear message from #moderator sir however how many #tlmonitor follows the same when they post someone's pic or info. Are they give credit to the owner?? No they don't simply they post approve themselves. Once in blue moon some other senior TL change the status as fix it else it will be as it is.
