Instead of running this train on Thursday between KOAA and AGC, Eastern Rly. can run it on Wednesday alongwith extension of this train upto BARMER via MTJ-AWR-BKI-JP-MTD-JU and Return train between BME and KOAA can start on Friday afternoon around 1400 hrs and reach KOAA on Sunday. Current time schedule of both UP and DOWN train indicates that the rake of this train stands idle in Kolkata for 72 hrs appx. Extension upto Barmer can give first connectivity to BARMER and ALWAR districts of Rajasthan to KOLKATA / many important cities of West Bengal.
Not running now, but used as spl. during rush season. For e.g. /blog/post/1103488
Thx. Blog of this Spl. indicates that ER had ran this Spl in 2014 only for just 2 months appx.
Not possible becoz of slot sharing between MGS and LKO with trains like MLDT ANVT exp, MLDT NDLS exp, ekatmata exp, etc
