Extensions will not happen because the trains that you have mentioned are oversubscribed, that is, they are always in high demand from the Origin itself. There is is no use of extending when there won't be additional seats available. Yes, new Trains can be introduced but that depends upon the feasibility.
Well, this is not true in every case. Ganga Kaveri was never poorly patronised from BSB yet got extended , Tapti ganga as well. Lots of examples available.
