it is supposed to be the first phase (LNL-TGN) of the entire automatic signalling project
the supposed date for completion of phase 1 was end of 2015 :P :P

Hahaha.. now it's 2018 and Talegaon to Pune is still remained.
This year Daund Pune Section is also allocated some funds for automatic signalling system.

an older document i read yesterday mentioned how line utilization would go from 100+% to around 60% once the entire line is under auto.
significant capacity augmentation can then be done.
