SUR division sent Proposal to Mumbai Div about adding Extra 6 Coaches to this train so still nothing confirmed about that..

But to do that they atleast need to allocate more seats to the extended portion. It is not possible to gauge the capacity with just an SL quota of 8 seats

Other than on weekends this train runs lite on occupancy,so may not be augmented straight away...If the trend continues they see more bookings to the extended portion better thing is they can keep SUR and till GDG under same GWNL quota and then can take call of augmentation as per demand.

But that quota decision is just foolishness ! They can give same quota till SUR if they increase the coaches!
And this too isnt an effective way of protecting interests of SUR pass.. Pass of GDG - SUR section can comfortably book from SUR to LTT in SUR Quota and can travel in the same berth in GDG -SUR section !!
