Opening of this route shall be a very important event as very convenient connectivity of TVC/Kollam with Madurai/Trichi/MAS shall be established.
TVC-Kollam-Tenkasi-Virudhunagar-Madurai-Dindigul-T richy-Villupuram-MS route shall serve the full length of the state of TN. We can hope that TVC-MS/Pondy trains shall be introduced soon after completion of the guage conversion..
