Acc to me 17:30 i.e the previous entry is correct and you are free to ask any TLM & if they found it is correct then they will cnf .

See with this issue I have spoken with Admins earlier. I am explaining you why it should be 17:45 and not 17:30. If you see the PNR Post the charting Time is given as less than. This < symbol is present. So technically if charting Time < 17:30 is given it is wrong. Because 17:35 is more than 17:30 so it should be updated as charting Time < 17:45.
I asked moderator sir regarding this issue in this past (By asking that - if 12:35 is the charting time, then what should be updated - 12:30 or 12:45). He said there are no clear guidelines for this. We may update as per our own judgemnet
IMO, it is better to update as 12:30 (as it closer). Also in train availability page, that < symbol is not used. In PNR posts, that symbol can be removed (to avoid confusion).

Yes the < symbol is confusing. To be technically correct I update 12:35 as < 12:45. In seat availability page < symbol is not present and while checking PNR status I don't think someone will check Seat availability page. He or she will check the PNR Post. So technically I update it like that way. If the symbol was not there then it won't be an issue plus it is good we update the higher time as one won't get the status at 12:30 but if one visits at 12:45 he or she will surely get the final charting status.
