This is all due to this on time performance which came recent years. They want to show more trains with less delay but spoiling the logic of controlling. Its the last leg of the journey, what happens if TN allowed MAS first. May be 10-15 min late for Coro or on time. Hope they will get back the old controlling system.

Same goes to ncr at babina they stop 12724 for 20min to ot from 12622 both are nonstop in jhs-bpl section and can run back to back till bpq after that SCR may allow to go ahead coz tg 4 halt in bpq-kzj section
also dakshin troll tn till et and kiratgarh....

Its OTP causing all this impractical controlling. We cannot follow Japan model in Indian railways. If a train from north east running with 7 hrs late and its a superfast mean express has to be stopped. No use of trolling it with a train with 10 stop where this train runs non stop.
Railways contradicting its stops system and not allowing late running train to cover up. This is a very bad controlling system for long distance trains.
