One of the worst public announcement system in this station. The electronic display board outside station premises Displays trains coming 10-12 hours later. Platform display board shows platform no & station code all the time. I had to catch mussorie exp for ddn, the announcement came only after the train arrived at pf 3. In enquiry counter a coolie was answering all the queries . Even the created a new train 12288 ddn kochuveli exp by public address system . Actually it was 12688 ddn mdu exp. It seems they only care about 12017 & 12055 shatabdi & jan shatabd.
I think these issues has been rectified now..Had been to Haridwar to catch 12402 Nanda Devi Express last week..There were proper announcements, the platform number was written on a notice board at the enquiry counter, the electronic display boards showed proper platform numbers and the coach position display board also showed the coach position well before arrival of the train.
