Recently travelled between NMH-FAN. Some of the highlights of Doubling and Electrification.
Doubling between NMH-COR:
- 2nd line has been drawn parallel to current BG line.
- Bridge works started and ballast has been placed throughout the section.

more... All major/minor bridge works in full swing. Hopefully, from next financial year, we have dedicated double line in between COR-NMH.
- Saw many goods trains have crossing or placed on hold for hours just to give priority to express/passengers trains, these will be reduced once doubling will be completed.
Electrification between COR-UDZ.
- Poles are placed between Ghousnda to Fatehnagar. No updates further as I travelled to this part only.
- Many stations have poles erected but no OHE cable placed to connect them.
- Hopefully, post-monsoon work will be completed at much faster pace.
- WR must take priority in electrification between RTM-COR so that whole RTM-UDZ section will be electrified. As of now, no progress has been done in WR section from COR-Berach Junction. Which will result in no end-end E-loco even after work completion from NWR.
