Dont think weekly will solve the purpose. As of now there are trains 3 days a week ( 3 weekly trains), at least if made triweekly, railways can ensure that every day there is a train from Kerala to GHY. This might reduce the load to some extent.
Another option could be the HWH-ERS Antyodaya should ideally have been introduced between GHY-TVC
