The bus between Tata-Ranchi takes 3 hours whereas train takes 5 hours !!.........Even if railways reduces running time by almost 1 hour, passenger will still prefer bus. The reason being buses plying after every 10-20 minutes with regular frequency
Namkum - Kandra railline will probably change the fate of this section. They will have to run EMU's at regular intervals to attract daily passengers.
