IRCTC had added few more reasons to file TDR. So now TDR can be filed for following reasons :-
1. train cancelled
2. train late more than 3 hrs and passenger not traveled
3. difference of fare in case of proper coach not attached.

5. traveled without proper ID proof
6. wrongly charged by TTE
7. party partially traveled (journey terminated short of destination)
8. passenger not traveled
9. train diverted and not touching boarding station
10. train diverted and not touching destination station.
11. passenger not traveled as reservation provided in lower class
12. passenger not traveled as ticket was in RAC after chart preparation
13. train terminated short of destination
14. party partially confirm/wait listed and wait listed passengers did not travel
15. party partially confirm/wait listed and all passengers did not traveled
16. party could not cancel as chart prepared at originating station or previous remote location.
17. train missed as the connecting train was late
18. change in reservation status from confirmed to wait listed or part wait listed / RAC after chart preparation.
