Rayalaseema SF, a train with 33 halts (2nd highest after Krishna Exp's 44) between SC and TPTY yet takes only 12h 50m to cover the distance of 732km catering the needs of most cities from the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh state. Compare it with fastest SF (Venkatadri SF) that takes 11h, with 20 halts but a distance of mere 637km.
A more 100km, more 13 halts, even if it takes more 2 hours then it's not a big deal.

Yes you are right most trains coming back to their origin station are slowed down. Don't know why IR deliberately does this. Similarly Devagiri, Ajanta, and many other trains slow down when coming back to SC.

This why passengers get irritated almost one hour delay is normal then not now Na bhai after FEDL from Tpty Sc Via Gtl and with Sf tag also it has similar priority Like Express only no change at all
