There are buses to the Airport from the bus stand located close-by (Refer google maps). Of course, OLA/Uber is an option too.
But if you wish to just hop onto an auto, that's the least cumbersome way out. Rs. 250 is an appropriate one-way fare to COK, if they try to over-charge you, that's the number you should be quoting.

Good one. In ideal situation the charge should have been around Rs.150-180 for a mere 12 km distance to drop. I have seen that Ola/Uber mostly charge surge from station area. Considering this I think 250 will be good bargain!
