Daund - Solapur - Gulbarga railway line which is on Mumbai route but still at present it is diesel line its connects mumbai,pune,ahmedabad to bengaluru,chennai,hyderabad but why is not electrified even less traffic lines get doubled and electrified.

of all inter metro city rail connectivity this one is most lagging behind connection and it has been like these for years. MP/mla of this region are more interested in roadways
Ok sir and i think metro rail useful only to that city but this electrification is urgently needed already in this line some trains have 60+ avg speed if electrification is over then the duration can be reduced
by metro , I do not mean intra city metro rail , but two metropolitan cities connection.
