Phew!!! That was a life saver. Thank you very much!!
So for my journey on 23 May from Bhopal to Vijayawada, I can book the ticket from GWL to Vijayawada for DOJ 22 May on 20 May itself, instead of waiting till 21 May and get the boarding point later changed to Bhopal...

1. Will it make any difference to book...

a tatkal ticket from the reservation counter at railway station instead of trying to book an e-ticket at home or office (i have tried to book tatkal e-ticket 2 times earlier but without luck)??
2. Can I book tatkal ticket for journey originating from GWL -from reservation counter at Indore (coz I stay in Indore)??
3. How can I get the boarding point changed- will it be possible immediately after booking the ticket??
