Sumit Pal~ 1501 blog postsDo you think 12073 should be run as a reverse to Puri Howrah Shatabdi? What I mean is that let Puri Shatabdi depart in usual time from Puri but let 12073 start from Howrah at 6.00 and arrive at BBS at 12.40 (basically reverse timings of Puri Howrah Shatabdi)

Yes, HWH-Puri Shatabdi runs with many seats empty. Also, many passengers gets down at BBS. I chose BBS JS over Puri Shatabdi due to no dynamic fare.
Already 9 2S are there in Dhauli exp. I dont think JS will get much patronage provided 2S fare of JS is higher than Dhauli. Also everyone cannot afford Shatabdi, so JS is the only option, which has 2S accomodation, left with them in the afternoon for going to BBS
Yes. Shatabdi Fare is too high. So, JS is preferable. Plus, punctuality is an issue with Howrah to Puri Shatabdi. Morning trains from Howrah are not desirable in any case.
Yes, Puri Shatabdi has a punctuality issue while it's cousin JS has pretty good punctuality. Really should improve the punctuality of Shatabdi
