Clean and Brand new coaches of 16526 SBC- Cape island Express. What is interesting and unique in these LHB SL coaches is the complete absence of trays which used to be there in many ICF rake as well as LHB rakes.
Hence a bit of inconvenience for passengers while having food etc.
Now that this train has got exclusive rakes, wonder if SWR...

No starircase in sideberths .Difficult to climb in side upper. Those coaches will look like 2003 made sl coaches after few years
Its better to run in the current slot for 16526 ,which has good timings at ERN,KTYM and fair timings beyond that. In the old slot, timings beyond KTYM is too unfavourable as it would reach in the afternoon-evening, which, would not be preferred by most pax.
Yes agree. Earlier passengers to ERS and beyond did not prefer this that much due to the timings of reaching late at their destinations. It was only after the time change that it was really patronised.

they give new lhb coaches but still something to crib. some people are never satisfied.
I think SWR will maintain this TT since SR has slowed down timings from TVC-CAPE and changed the timing at CAPE from 15.15 to 17 00 after removal of RSA, due to platform issues at CAPE. Well.. To say, this train runs almost empty from TVC,so not much effect for passengers till TVC.
