Why do i always get upper berths when i book through IRCTC. I select lower or middle... but i always get an upper...! Is there any trick to get lower berths..?

duh. we can indicate our choice while booking at IRCTC too! But it juuuust doesnt work.

I did nite outs in SC Raj, Ypr- Korba Wainganga.

I think it depends on luck too. I booked two tickets in sabari express with availability showing as 82. I gave my choice as side lower and side upper berth. Bingo...... got it.......This was on IRCTC web.
