End of wcam - 1 era :(( it seems like the wcam 1 will be slowly decommisioned nd in 2013 they will be extinct ... Im really sad to see one of best servants of wr going away from us ..

Rather getting into scrapped, CR has to think n re-furbish them into an AC working locos.
DC to AC of CR is also targeted for completion by end this FY...Same has been proposed in Rly budget also so could be end of era in about years time...
really sad to bid adieu...to the best ever locos in WR...will miss u....but they would be alive in our hearts for ages...i simply love them especially WCAM 2P...!!!!...which use to haul my fav. train The g8 MUMbai RAJ...!!!!
not possible.they have reached the end of their lifetime.having served mumbai for 3full decades.and therefore need to be scrapped
