What is the status of the railway line doubling between Prayagraj (Allahabad) Junction and Phaphamau ( via Prayag) ?

From Ald to Prg 80% tracks laid, 20% remaining alongwith electrification of the new line yet to start
From Prg to Pfm, they are waiting for the ganga bridge to complete first.
The bridge work is done only 5-6 months in a year as remaining 6-7 months water level not allows. Only 4 beams are remaining to construct between pillars out of total some 29 beams (25 are complete) which will complete this year dry period when water will be low. Then doubling will not take more than Six months.
That means by next march april, Prg Pfm doubling can complete.

From August to January, water level not allows, then this year Kumbh not allowed work till 04 March, After Clearing of tent area and peepa pul (catamaran bridges), work will start, may be by this august remaining 04 beams work will finish and then more six to nine months for laying tracks from Prg to Pfm
