The station gets deserted right from the evening, so if you want foods and stuff, you have to get it from the shops outside. If you are returning to bangalore by hampi express, then pack your food either from your place or any of the outside stalls as the stall in the station only offers dosa and pulao and never opens before 8 pm.
In the morning if you get down from Hampi express and wish to go to Hampi, you will find auto drivers hovering around you... Choose wisely and keep an eye on your belongings...
