Jokatte-Kulashekara Cabin section of the Mangaluru-Thokur stretch is now officially a double line section. Crossings are now handled at Kulashekara cabin, about 3 kilometers from Mangaluru Junction. Kulashekara Cabin-Kulashekara Tunnel-Padil Bypass-Mangaluru Junction line doubling work is barely seeing any progress right now and might take another 2 years or so.
