These are some of the pictures which I took. It is the Naihati bypass line, which helps (predominantly) freight avoid reversal at Naihati. The line arises just near Garifa (towards Naihati) and joins the Ranaghat line. I don't know whether a lot of freight use this bypass, but I had seen freight once or twice and they are strangled for hours before they actually get clearance.

Yes very little clearance is given through this track. As it is the track is used more or less like a siding only.
Well this is an extremely new track... Operations would hopefully increase in future
