Enjoyed high speed run from Dadar to Diva Jn.
Missed to click Xing with multiple trains as had to switch the window seat with wrong side window at Thane with one of the families travelling along.๐ (Ltt AC Double decker, ERS Ltt Duronto n many more).

This train is super crawler in Diva-Panvel-Karjat section. Experience of Chennai Adi Exp is always better as it runs non-stop most of the time in this section. But is still one of my favorite as it enjoys very high priority on Mumbai-Diva route and post Karjat route on both sides 12125/6.
Halted for 5 min at railway crossing near Dativali/Nilaje station. God knows for what reason.
Was crawling till Panvel. Then gained some speed till Chouk and again halted at Chouk station. I thought might be for single line crossing with freight. But got clearance without crossing any train after 7 min.
In ghats, maintained good speed without any hault till Lonavla๐.
Covered full ghat section in approx 32-35 min instead of allotted 41 min. Benefit of being 14 coacher ๐๐.
Then began high speed show on Lonavla Pune route. Chocolaty boy burnt down the tracks like hell. As if Pragati don't need WAP -7 for high speed to show who is the boss after beloved Deccan Queen.
Left Lonavla at 7:17pm, arrived Shivajinagar at 7:58pm and reached Pune station at 8:09pm
Today's run was the best ever run(full 2 dhaasu) for Pragati Express on Lonavla Pune section.
Have traveled previously with Deccan Queen once, Pragati many times, Adi-Kop exp many times, Indb Pune sf once, Indrayani Sf twice,Ltt Hubli once and in opposite side Indrayani twice, Intercity twice, Chennai Adi many times, SBC-All exp, Pragati twice, Hussainsagar once, Pune indb SF(All as per my experience. Some train might have done such amazing run as well). Those halted at least twice or thrice or had Freight on main line. Surprisingly didn't faced any TSR's between Lonavla- Shivajinagar.
One of the pleasant surprise was none of the station was a slow skip this time.
Covering Lonavla Pune with Shivajinagar as a halt in 52 min is a big deal for any train๐
