A lot has been discussed about T-18 replacing Shatabdis.. But it seems IR is planning to run T-18 on new routes initially..Later it will replace Shatabdis..
Delhi-JAT/SVDK will be a new route..

Even i think so.. VB will run on new routes where Shatabdis are not available as there will be considerable reduction in time in these routes
Some other city pairs I can think of are
1. BSB-HWH
2. NDLS-ALD

Strongly they should have worked on replacing Shatabdi with VB but ab sab ulta ho raha hai, least to expect ki future mein koi shatabdi replace hogi.
But better to replace shatabdi with VB on delhi-bhopal route nahi toh Gatimaan, Shatabdi, VB teeno ko nuksaan hoga
