Being Ranajithpura is nearest Railway station to Sandur (A place very popular for mines). But the nearest station is Toranagallu because Ranjithpura is for goods only. One can visit Sandur (Suggestion:- Visit Sandur during Rainy season) by taking KSRTC Bus from Toranagallu Railway Station. It is a beautiful place with greenery and sight seeing.
