Strong rumours also heard by my father by the dps between dhanbad and asansol.
As per them platform seven side in asansol will be broken and rebuilt.
In dhanbad platform 4/5 will be broken and no of platforms @dhn will be reduced.

Afaik, final planning for any station of ER still now has not been done. But Asansol, Raniganj and Bardhaman are supposed to experience some major changes in the station premise. A flyover also has been planned from Barachak to Kulti
