Jhantipahari is a tiny railway station on the Adra - Kharagpur line of Adra division. It's well known for tourists because you can easily reach the famous tourist spot "Susunia Hill" in Bankura district from here.
But wait, there's another cool thing about this small station. During the 'Golden era' of Bengali Film Industry, a famous film called 'Ashite Asio na (৮০ তে আসিও না)' featuring Bhanu Bandyopadhyay was filmed here in Jhantipahari in 1967. That's what gives this station a special tagline.
