Lets spare a moment to congratulate our scientists at ISRO who have done a great job,spending years together and putting their efforts for realising that one dream which would make India proud and stand apart from rest of the world. There may be failures but lets not lose hope. #Chandrayaan2

The main issue is speed of impact which is unknown...if it be high internal communication equipments would have got damaged...
I think due to some Solar radiation some part may have got damaged that is my assumption. Overall our Indian scientist are no way less than Foreign scientist. ISRO can challenge any mission if they want.
